Snow-plow Husky Style

A little piece of recent history....

HuMom and HuDad took us to the snow a little while back. HuMom's been too lazy to post anything. She captured a great shot of our dear late Sasha doing her best snow-plow impression. I personally don't think she was plowing at all! I think she was snow-grazing. But, I'll leave it to you to decide.

Talk to the Camera, Baby

It's really not Cache's fault he's got the looks of a high fashion model. What with his I'm-too-sexy-for-my-eyes look and all. But for pity's sake, does he have to turn it on with his come-here-I-wanna-bite-ya glare? I think it's a tad overdramatic.

I'd rather just give the camera a look that says: You talkin' to me?

Well, HuMom did ask me to look at the camera.

Face to Face Encounter

Do you think the squirrel is wondering who's tail is fluffier?

Sasha Lassen 2001- March 5, 2011

We have not been here for a very long time. And it's no one's fault but the HuMom's. But wanted to share our grief at the passing of our emeritus pack leader, Sasha. You may remember her woo-wooing seen on video in an earlier post. HuMom and HuDad were with her when she left. HuMom brought her collar for us to sniff and me (Shasta) to wriggle into. Feeding time will never the same. Run with the pack at the bridge, Sasha and wooo-wooo your heart out. We will miss you, terribly.

Fluff Drifts in June

So, we don't get snow drifts where we live in California. But we do get fluff drifts.

Fluff drifts are created in a way not unlike their name fluff DRIFT. In that the fluff drifts from our very fluffy selves to some location of general collection, usually driven by the whims of the breezes until it forms fluff drifts, as you can see in the aforementioned photos.

Overcoming Obstacles

Neither garden tools nor flimsy plastic fencing will keep me from my sunning spot.
